DMCA

If something on camtocam.live copies a work that belongs to you, tell us and we will act on it under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512). One limit up front: the live video chat runs on Coomeet’s own website and never through our servers, so complaints about what happens inside that chat have to go to Coomeet.
1. Contents of a DMCA notice
- How we can get back to you: full name, postal address, telephone number and email.
- Which work of yours is affected, described in a sentence or two or shown by a link to the original.
- The precise camtocam.live address where you found the copy.
- A sentence confirming your good faith belief that the copyright holder, a representative or the law has not permitted the use in question.
- A sentence, made under penalty of perjury, that your notice is correct and that you hold, or may act for whoever holds, the exclusive right concerned.
- Your signature; typing your full name below the notice counts as an electronic one.
2. Where to send it
Open the contact form and pick “Takedown request” as the subject. We acknowledge each complete notice, review it and, when it holds up, take the material down or block it, normally within a few working days.
3. Counter-notice
Believe a removal hit you by error? Then a counter-notice is your move, sent via Send a note as well. Include your contact details, the camtocam.live address the material used to have, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it disappeared through a mistake or a mix-up, your agreement to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your area, and your signature.
4. False claims
Knowingly misrepresenting that something infringes, or that it was removed by mistake, exposes the sender to damages under 17 U.S.C. 512(f).
